⚔️🇨🇦➡️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 From Oshawa to Edinburgh!

A huge congratulations to Vikings players Caleb McEleney, Owen MacKinnon and Nate Barnes, who have joined Stewart’s Melville RFC in Edinburgh, Scotland for the upcoming season!

The trio will compete in Scotland’s National League Division Two. Their move is part of a growing reciprocal relationship between the Oshawa Vikings and Stewart’s Melville, giving players the opportunity to experience rugby and life overseas.

We’re incredibly proud to see our players take this next step in their rugby journeys. Go make the Vikings proud! ⚔️

Kaidyn has been nominated for the Sports Illustrated Youth Athlete of the Year! 🏆

After an incredible season of hard work, dedication, and self-discipline, Kaidyn has continued to grow both as an athlete and as a leader. His commitment to training has helped elevate his game, while his leadership on and off the field has made him someone his teammates can look up to.

While rugby is his passion, Kaidyn has also excelled in school athletics. If it involves running or jumping, he’s ready to compete! This year, he proudly took home 1st place at Regionals in the 100m. 🥇

For Kaidyn, this nomination is about much more than an award. It’s an opportunity to represent the Oshawa Vikings, the sport of rugby, and a game he absolutely loves. His dedication and passion are clear, and his goal is to continue pursuing rugby at the highest level.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made our Women’s in Rugby Night such a success yesterday! It was a great evening celebrating the women who make rugby special.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the night happen — and to all the players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who continue to grow the game.

Here’s to creating more opportunities, building connections, and inspiring the next generation of women in rugby! 💪🏉

Congratulations to Reid David on being selected for the Men’s U18 National Development Camp! 👏🏉

Reid is one of 72 players from across Canada invited to the camp, taking place August 8–15 at the University of Guelph. The week brings together some of the country’s top U18 talent for high-level development and the next step in their rugby journey.

We’re incredibly proud to see a Viking representing Oshawa Vikings RFC on the national stage. 🔴⚫

It’s a huge weekend for our Senior sides! ⚔️

Senior Women 1st XV head to the OWL Premiership Semi-Final against Guelph Rugby, while our Senior Women 2nd XV take on Guelph’s 2nd team.

Senior Men 1st XV hit the road to Niagara to take on the Niagara Wasps.
