I am proud to announce that on Saturday September 14, I won my professional MMA fight via TKO, 84 seconds into the first round. I’ll talk more about the match itself in a subsequent post.

I want to thank my cornermen Stewart Landry and Kevin Clark. Stew welcomed me into his gym 10th Planet Peterborough/Eris Martial Arts and handled all of my grappling training. Kevin played the roles of sparring partner and pad holder for my striking/wrestling. Both of these men were there for me through this training camp and gave up a lot of their free time. I could not have done this without them and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to compete. I also wanted to thank the Joe’s Gym members (Owen Dehaas, Will Fenton, Allen Chong) and the members of 10th Planet Peterborough who served as my training partners. Thank you to Lee O’Neill of Lakeborough Osteopathy for keeping me intact during training camp.

I want to thank my wife Victoria Dawson for being my rock through this camp as well as my family and friends who came out to support me/bought the pay per view.
