Kicking off the season at the Big Guy invitational competition at 🙌🙌

Due to ongoing interest in trying out for the team and the grade level assemblies falling after our original tryout date, we will be welcoming any additional team hopefuls on Tuesday, September 10th!!

If you are interested in cheerleading or just want to see what it's all about, or if you were on the fence last week and want to give it a shot, Tuesday is the time to do it! We will NOT be extending our tryouts past Tuesday.

When: Tuesday, September 10th at 5:45PM until 7:15PM
Where: Oromocto High School Gymnasium

We will have a parent meeting at 7PM to go over the commitment and fees. This is for any newly interested athlete's guardians as well as any guardians whose athletes' tried out last week who couldn't make the parent meeting on Thursday.

*****TONIGHT is our OFFICIAL TRYOUT practice!
Attendance tonight is mandatory to be considered for the final team. *****

Note: ALL team hopefuls are welcome! :) You are not required to have attended the open-gym practices prior to today to participate in tonight's tryout practice.

Each athlete can expect to receive an email confirming whether they have a spot on the team for the 2024-2025 season by end of day tomorrow, September 6th, 2024.

Practice tonight will take place at our regularly sheduled time (5:45PM-7:15PM)

There will be a ****PARENT MEETING**** reviewing both the time and financial commitment as well as expectations.

PARENT MEETING WILL BEGIN AT 6:45 PM AND RUN UNTIL NO LATER THAN 7:15PM

We have several coaches on hand so practice will continue to run throughout the parent meeting. As such, it is essential that a parent or guardian attends so that there is no misunderstanding regarding the commitment.

Topics we will go over include (but are not limited to):
- Season objective
- Attendance policy
- Regular practice times
- Football games
- Pre-scheduled weekend practices/clinics
- Fees and expenses (these will be approximate until further notice)
- Competition dates and expectations
- PD/ no-school day practices

Two more open practices left then tryouts will be held on Tuesday September 12th from 3:30-5 PM! There will also be a mandatory parent meeting following tryouts beginning at 5:15 PM, this should only take about 15 minutes!
