Orléans Minor Football Association

Orléans Minor Football Association Founded in 1973, we are an amateur youth football club for ages 8-18.

The OMFA includes the Orléans Bengals and the Orléans Raftsmen that play in NCAFA, as well as a Cheer program for youth 6-14.

🌟 Jess Houle 🌟

Jess has been a dedicated Team Manager with OMFA for the past 2 years, supporting our U14 Flag & Tackle teams in 2025 and our current U16 Flag & Tackle programs.

What she loves most about volunteering is being part of the Bengals family and the incredible sense of community that brings players, coaches, volunteers, and families together to help athletes grow and succeed.

One of Jess’s favourite memories was winning the U14 C-Cup Championship in 2025 after the team overcame adversity and truly embodied the Bengals values of Pride, Respect, and Team. Celebrating that journey together at the C-Cup pizza party and end-of-season banquet made it a season she’ll never forget.

Volunteer Spotlight:
🌟Travis Kritsch 🌟

For the past 5 years, Travis has volunteered with the OMFA as a coach, sticks crew member, scorekeeper, timekeeper, promoter, and is one of our biggest fans. Before that, he spent 8 years as a Bengals player.

What he loves most about volunteering is seeing the impact football has beyond the fiel - watching athletes build confidence, develop discipline, create friendships, and learn the value of teamwork.

One of his favourite memories came during a Provincial Championship when his son was named Player of the Game despite his team falling short. Rather than celebrate individually, his son handed over the trophy because he felt there was no victory worth celebrating without his teammates. For Travis, it was a powerful reminder that football is about putting the team first and building character that lasts far beyond the game.

Tackle season is almost upon us!

Register for the 2026 tackle season now and your athlete can take advantage of our preseason training sessions every Friday leading up to the season. It's the perfect opportunity to meet teammates, revisit the fundamentals, build confidence, sharpen skills, and get a head start before the season officially kicks off.

Whether you're returning to the field or trying tackle football for the first time, these sessions are designed to help players prepare, compete, and have fun in a supportive team environment.

🌟Anne Marie Gannon 🌟

For the past 3 years, Anne has volunteered as a Manager and Trainer with Flag U12, Tackle U10, and Tackle U12.

She loves watching athletes develop their love of the game while supporting one another.

One of her favourite memories is of a player who didn’t want anyone but his previous trainer helping him. By the end of the season, they had built such a strong bond that he was sad she wasn’t moving up with his team. Moments like these are why Anne loves making kids feel safe, supported, and cared for.

🔥 COACH ANNOUNCEMENT - U16 🔥

We’re excited to announce Marcus Membrere as our new Head Coach for the upcoming tackle season!

Last year, Marcus served as our U10 Offensive Coordinator and played a key role in leading the team to an undefeated regular season. His commitment to his players, attention to detail, and ability to inspire young athletes helped create a winning experience built on hard work, accountability, and teamwork.

This year, Marcus has proudly taken on the role of Head Coach for our U16 program. We’re excited to see his energy, knowledge, and enthusiasm translate onto the field.

We look forward to watching Coach Marcus build on his success and lead our U16 athletes both on and off the field this season.
