In CrossFit, we repeat certain workouts, called benchmarks, to help you measure your progress beyond the numbers on the scale.
Some bench marks we repeat multiple times in a year, over a couple years.
Today we repeated a benchmark that we last did 3 years ago, in 2023.
Some members weren’t with us then, so this was their first time. Others were - and maybe their score wasn’t better than before, but also maybe doing fitness for 3 years is a great measure of progress for today.
Celebrate the little wins and remember to play the long game.
