My vision for Monarch Goaltender Development is a goaltender development program based around skill specific development rather than the old generalized approach, I remember as a kid, where we would get grouped up and simply move from station to station learning everything, yet nothing, under the sun. I want to set goals with my clients both skill related and career related, which will be complete
d through a questionnaire that I will email out monthly. The sessions will consist of drills that adhere to the goals that my clients set, and will not sway vary far from that path in order to keep them focused on certain areas until progress is made. I know teaching, and learning, does not begin and end on the ice with goalies, I will be taking video of the goalies throughout the sessions, I will be breaking down the video away from the rink with a quick analysis and then emailing these to my clients for them to go over by themselves or with their parents, which will only help to further embed the lessons within the client. Ultimately, my model is to keep the cost as low as possible while continuously bettering my product in order to consistently please my goalies. I know that my enthusiasm for the sport of hockey combined with the caring and passionate nature I have gained through social work will only help me continue to grow in this business and earn and maintain many great relationships along the way. I really want to grow this business through great relationships as I know the hockey community in Orangeville, and surrounding areas, is just rich with character and wonderful people, I am very excited to have the opportunity to be among them and offer them this service in this wonderful area. Monarch's mission is to create a lasting model in this community that will support the local goaltenders while they prepare to spread their wings and set out on their own path towards hockey success. While finding a way enthuse, enthrall and excite the many goalies of tomorrow, I plan on creating an experience like no other when it comes to conquering the hardest position in sports, the goaltender.
