On Saturday, Kyle, Mjöer-Micah, and Kru Martello proudly represented the at the Barrie Open Invitational Jiu-Jitsu Tournament!

All three athletes faced tough opponents throughout the day, finishing with an impressive 8-2 overall record. They competed with heart, executed their skills, embraced the challenges against quality competition, and left everything on the mats. That IS what competition is all about.

Every match is a lesson. Every tournament is an opportunity to grow. Today was another BIG step forward.

A Team Of Families • If you have been following our page for a while, then you undoubtedly know our mightiest warrior, Sloane. Meet her dad, Fraser Ross—the other adult half of the .rossport squad. Earlier this year, Fraser stepped into the student role, training primarily in our Boxing with Knees class and returning to a martial art he practiced years ago—this time with a KNEE twist, of course!

We first got to know Fraser through Sloane and James, who have been members of our community since 2022. Over the years, he has been a parent-spectator at countless matches, a parent-supporter at our internal events, and now, a parent-student putting in some sweat equity on the mats.

Whether inspired by his kids or simply embracing a new chapter in life, we are incredibly GR8FUL to have Fraser as a full-fledged part of our family.

When he is not channeling his inner Muay Khao (knee fighter), you will find him coaching his son’s rep baseball team.

Fraser is the embodiment of NO ONE IS EVER JUST ONE THING.

This is Navy — and she is all of this and so much more. Beneath her quiet and gentle nature is a fierce determination that has allowed her to blossom into an absolute powerhouse.

Navy started with WON on ONE sessions and has since incorporated group training through our Wx8 HYBRID program. Watching her grow in confidence, strength, and skill has been incredible. We are so proud of her — for so many reasons — but most of all for listening to her parents (😊😊😊) and taking a chance on herself to walk into that very first session. It ALWAYS starts with ‘WON’. That’s the goal.

Remember gentle NEVER means weak!! You can 1000% be BOTH just like Navy.

Our Women’s Only Xtraining sessions are designed to help women build skill, confidence, and strength in a supportive, judgment-free space. This kickboxing class is all about learning, moving, sweating, and enjoying the process together.
