❤️ How has dance shaped who you are?
“Dance has shaped my thinking, my way of life, and my identity in so many ways. I truly would not be the person I am if it weren’t for dance. Dance taught me perseverance, courage, and resilience.”
❤️ Favourite Studio III memory?
“I honestly don’t have one favourite memory. My time at Studio III has been absolutely incredible, and to pick just one moment would be unfair.”
❤️ What is one thing dance has taught you?
“How important the arts are for people. Dance has been a way for me to express myself, stay active, and be creative. The arts build resilience, community, and confidence.”
❤️ Advice for younger dancers?
“Don’t compare yourself to others. Everyone improves and learns at their own pace. Focus on your own growth.”
❤️ How has dance prepared you for the future?
“Dance taught me perseverance. To never give up, even when things are scary or frustrating. I will carry that with me throughout my education and life.”
❤️ Most valuable lesson from teachers and peers?
“Always point your toes. It’s the smallest thing, but it can make or break a routine. Also, always support and congratulate others no matter what.”
❤️ Will dance stay part of your life after graduation?
“Yes. I hope to continue dancing and eventually become certified to teach exam work. Teaching history and dance are my ultimate goals.”
❤️ Favourite performance memories?
“My favourite performance was ‘Leave a Light On’ at Xtreme 2020. Watching ‘Inhabit’ at Starbeat 2026 also gave me chills because of the emotion and storytelling.”
❤️ How do you hope to make a positive impact through dance?
“I hope to teach the next generation and help young dancers appreciate dance and all the arts have to offer.”
❤️ What has the Studio III community meant to you?
“Community is one of the main reasons I love dance. There has always been someone there to support and encourage me.”
❤️ How has Studio III supported your growth?
“The studio gave me opportunities to grow through competitions and exams and always supported me when I needed it. I’m incredibly grateful for the last 11 years.”
