Championship pedigree. On our floor. 🐻

We brought in Jon Goodwillie (Jon Goodwillie), an NBA championship assistant coach, to guest coach at OP Summer Camp. He was with the Toronto Raptors (Toronto Raptors) from 2019–2023 and is now an advanced scout for Canada Basketball.

Jon put our campers through a real training session and sat down to break down his journey through the pro game and the lessons every young player needs to hear.

Camp is in full swing. 🐻🏐

Beach and indoor, all in one week. Our campers are breaking in the brand-new beach courts and putting in work across the Fieldhouse and the Dome — sharpening their skills and testing it all in live gameplay.

And they’re learning from the best coaches. Straight from the Orangeville Bears Volleyball Club advisory board, the same minds building our rep program.

We also brought in guest coach Sergey Grabovsky (Sergey Grabovsky), former Team Canada Beach Volleyball, to run beach skills and gameplay with our campers.

Coached by the best. Learning from the best. 🐻

We brought in Gus Gymnopoulos (Gus Gymnopoulos) Assistant Coach for Orangeville Prep National, to guest coach at OP Summer Camp.

Gus has spent over two decades building elite prep programs and has guided players all the way to NBA, the NCAA, and U SPORT. With names like Andrew Wiggins, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and Andrew & Ryan Nembhard.

This week he broke down exactly what Orangeville Prep looks for when recruiting, what life on a prep team really looks like, and then put the campers through a true prep practice — fun, engaging, and a real taste of the next level.

That’s the access that sets camp apart. 🏀

To every camper who put in the work, every family who trusted us with them, and every staff member who poured in all week — thank you. You made it one to remember.

Sharper skills. Better habits. A whole lot of buckets. That’s what these weeks are built for.

We brought in Cavell Johnson — Head Coach of the Laurier Golden Hawks men’s basketball (OUA) — to guest coach at OP Summer Camp.

A former Division I player and pro overseas, Cavell put the campers through what a real university practice feels like and broke down exactly what he looks for when recruiting.

The reads, the habits, the details that get you to the next level, straight from someone who decides who makes it.
