What a great day a Gully Mor - big jumps, a fast track and amazing racing friends!

Avery Mercer Racing finished off her season with a 1st place, keeping her lead in points to win the series. Woot woot!

Next year she is being promoted to a tougher division that is 2 hours long. She is ready for it and can't wait to dominate it.

Avery would like to thank:
Barrie Honda Powerhouse for supplying that most amazing bike

Avery was tearing up the track yesterday with a few of her XC racing friends.
You can hear the guttural roar of her CRF 150RB as she comes up to the jump! Best sound ever!!!

Exciting news!!!!
Avery is greatful and proud to be racing her favourite bike, and have the support of the amazing team at Barrie Honda Powerhouse.

It's our pleasure here to support and bring on to our team 'Avery Mercer', who will be riding a new Barrie Honda Powerhouse CRF 150RB . Women's racing has been growing and growing in the past years, and it's always been an important criteria to support everyone we can in their racing career.
We wish Avery a very successful riding season moving into 2024, and we're hugely proud of her commitment and results this season.

Here's a little BIO that Avery's put together for us:

Avery Mercer, a 16 year old from Shelburne, Ontario, lives and breathes dirt bikes. In 2019 she first started riding after she bought her first ever dirt bike by selling chicken eggs. That year she spent her entire summer volunteering her time, teaching other kids and adults how to ride. Avery continues to work at SMART Riding Adventures, sharing her passion and enthusiasm of riding with everyone. Avery has worked very hard to save her money to purchase all her bikes and to develop the skills to be able to fix them herself. One of her goals with dirt bikes was to be able to race them. As a petite rider, she fell in love with the Honda CRF150RB bike because it was small but packed a punch, even allowing her to win against riders on full size bikes. Avery’s 2023 season racing in the Off-road Cross Country series has been very successful, winning almost all the races and creating long lasting friendships with the other riders. When not riding, you can find Avery farming or working on her goals to become a welder. Next year, Avery is looking forward to new challenges and will continue to push herself on her little red rocket, as she is being promoted to the Woman’s Intermediate class.

Offroad Ontario XC - Walton. Double header.

The first day was all about cakey mud and slick grass. During the last lap, Avery was in the lead but had to drop out of the rave due to an injury.

The second day, Avery was back with with determination and won the race with another big gab between 1st and 2nd.
