Just a reminder, tomorrow, there will be a work bee to get the snow fence up, the posts are already in, so, just need to secure the fence, this is starting around noon. Shooting will begin when fence is up. Also, this Wednesday will be our last evening shoot, Only Sundays after October 7th.

Just a quick reminder, August 16th, there is a free club shoot, free targets and free BBQ to all members, anyone bringing guests that aren't club members, there will be a $5.00 charge for the BBQ. If you could, please call Joe(or inbox us for his phone number), to let him know if you are coming and if you are bringing any guests. So he can plan how much food to bring.

The Bob Brown Memorial Trap Shoot starts today at 1. This is a registered shoot. Everyone is welcome, but, in order to shoot, you must join the ATA (Amateur Trapshooting Association). Events will be doubles, prelims, 16 yd and handicap. (Any club members that have some free time, please feel free to come out and lend a hand).

Just a reminder to all members of the club, we are a volunteer organization and we rely heavily on member support to keep the club looking at its best and we rely on members to help out at shoots or other functions we may be having. We have the Bob Brown Memorial Trap shoot coming up at the end of July and we need members to help score targets, do odd jobs and at the end of the day, tidy it up for the next day's events. We know its a weekend and we all hope we have great weather and you may have plans with your family to get away for the weekend with this crazy year we've been having, you deserve it. But, please? If you have a few hours to come out and help, it would be more than a little appreciated. So, if you can spare a few hours? Or a day? Give Joe a call, let him know. Free Club Shoot and BBQ.
We will be having a free Club BBQ (burgers and dogs) and fre
tgts (pickups) on Sunday 16 August. We can start shooting at around10 AM if you want. BBQ will be around 2 or 3 PM. We would very much like to know who is coming so we can plan on how much food to buy. If anyone wishes to bring a guest who is not a member (family, friend, etc) it will be $5.00 per guest for the BBQ. Just a quick update on the Alberta Provincials that the Lone Pine Club held over the weekend. Was one of our biggest turn outs in a few years. We gained 2 new lady shooters and one new junior shooter. Lisa won the women's in the 12 Gauge and Kim, won the 20 gauge women's. While Trell our junior shooter, gave some the more senior shooters run for the money. Thanks to all that shot and participated and thanks to the behind the scenes work by Greg and Marcus keeping everything running smooth, hard to both shoot and organize. Again, big thanks to all and we will be posting pictures soon.
