Happy New Year from DJ Ranch!!

We’d like to thank everyone for the support and encouragement given throughout 2019 - it was certainly a bumpy year as we all learned to adjust to the loss of our beloved Pam.

But 2020 brings new vision and dreams and we’re excited to have you as a part of it.

With the completion of some restructuring, we now have openings for new boarders! At just $200/mth/horse we offer competitive pricing with the use of both an indoor arena and an outdoor arena included.

We also offer lessons with an emphasis on beginners and a focus on foundation horsemanship. $40 for a 1 hour, private lesson. Or $25/person when booking for 2 people or more together.

And of course we’ll be offering our popular summer day camps 😊 Perfect for ages 7+ our camps are $420 per week and were fully booked by the end of March last year. While we’re still finalizing the 2020 dates, please leave a comment below (or send us a message) if you want to be among the first to know when registration is open.

2019 SUMMER CAMPS!

It took a bit to sort out our plans for this year, but once we made the decision and let the early birds know the dates, things moved very quickly!

As such... we only have 1 spot left available in the week of August 19th.

We "might" consider adding an extra week if we build up enough of a waiting list. But at the moment this is all we've got left.

Maureen has been a boarder at DJ Ranch for many years now and is the proud owner of five horses. She and her husband, Fred, are valuable 'barn members' that we all love and enjoy exchanging 'horse tips' with. Thank you, Maureen, for sharing this article you wrote, before Lee became ill, with our local news media.

Phew!! Campers enjoyed (?) a blistering 33 degrees this afternoon and decided the horse troughs were very inviting! Fresh, clean well water is really, really cold though so they decided the one in the paddock that was filled this morning was the hot tub and the one just filled was the cold pool. Loads of fun!!!

Our first camp of 2018 starts next week - so excited to meet all the new kids. Just a heads up to all our boarders....the arena will be busy from 10 - 4 pm.
