Latesha came in yesterday for her first session having learned the kettlebell swing from YouTube. 🎥

She wasn’t hinging — she was swinging the bell overhead, leading with her arms. Classic pattern most people fall into when they’re self-taught.

We went back to basics. Wall drill. Hip hinge vs. squat. Felt the difference in her body.

One session. One drill. Completely different swing. 💪🏽

That’s what coaching does. It fast-tracks what would take months of trial and error on your own.

Her technique will keep improving every session from here — but the foundation is already solid after Day 1.

Upper body day hits different when it’s built for athletes. 🏀💪🏿💪

Push-ups. Bench press. Explosive push-ups. Chin-ups. Wheelbarrow walks. Burpee knee tucks. Heavy medicine ball chest throws.

And this is my therapy.

50 pull-ups. 600 pounds. 635 pounds.

The bar doesn’t care what’s going on in your head — but it does something to it. Every heavy pull, every grind, every rep you didn’t want to finish… clears something. Builds something.

Today’s session covered it all —
Farmer’s walks. Bottoms-up KB presses. Double KB complex. Single KB flow. Push-ups. Burpees.

Every rep builds something that shows up everywhere — in the gym, on the platform, and in life.

Woke up with one thing on my mind. Deadlifts. 🧠

Method Man playing in the background. Bar loaded. Let’s go.

Worked up to two heavy singles — 600 lbs. Then 620. 🔥

After that, 50 pull-ups. 100 kettlebell swings. 25 box jumps. 100 push-ups. 10 minutes of loaded carries.

What a way to start the week. 💪🏿
