However, the growth of human powered transportation is hindered by inefficiencies and inaccessibility. alled prope(da)l. The bicycle is a very efficient machine in terms of converting chemical energy from the human body into mechanical energy. However, in order to achieve the maximum efficiency of the bicycle, the angle at which one pedals must maximize the power output of the rider, whilst ensuring that there is no strain on the rider. Through preexisting biomechanical studies, encompass ltd has been able to determine the most effective angles at which one should pedal at throughout an entire revolution of the bike crank. encompass ltd has created a unique mechanism that resembles a cam structure, which is designed to control the angle at which an individual is pedaling. The mechanism changes the angle of the pedal as the rider applies force onto the pedal. By automatically adjusting the angle at which the rider is pedaling, the mechanism ensures that the individual is always pedaling at the accurate angle, thus maximizing power output and reducing strain on the human body. encompass ltd is governed by a Board of Directors and an executive staff in order to manage and control the daily operations of the business. The Board of Directors is comprised of Shad Valley International Students - Syed Kamran and Richard Zhang as the co-chairs of the board, Alvin Janes as the chair of the technical committee, Vyoma Shah as the chair of the audit committee, Yanxiu Wu as the chair of the finance committee, and Rhea D’Souza, Jean Ji, Minji Kim, Joyce Lu, Pallavi Singh, and Alex Newman as general directors. The members of the board shall ensure the hired executive abides by the philosophy and mission of the company.
