2026 APS PROFESSIONAL AWARD

High performance matters. But how you show up everyday is how you get there.

The Professional Award recognizes the athletes who consistently set the standard with their commitment, consistency, and professionalism throughout the summer.

This year’s recipients:

Blake Williams — McMaster Marauders Jaden Briscoe — McMaster Marauders ʙᴇɴ ᴄᴏᴛᴛʀᴇʟʟ — Western Mustangs

These three could be counted on week after week. They showed up ready to work, trained with intent, were engaged in the process, and brought the type of consistency that allows progress to compound over an entire summer.

Being a professional isn’t about being perfect. It’s about the standard you hold yourself to - on good days, bad days and everything in between.

Blake, Jaden and Ben set that standard this summer.

Congratulations, fellas. Well earned. 👏

2026 APS BREAKTHROUGH AWARD

The Breakthrough Award recognizes the athlete whose growth, development, and commitment produced the greatest overall transformation in speed and change of direction performance and ex*****on over the course of the summer.

This year’s winner: Jacob Muller.

From May to July, Jacob made major strides across virtually every area we worked on.

⚡ Top Speed: +3 km/h
 🚀 10-Yard Dash: 1.53s → 1.45s
 💥 Broad Jump: 9’0” → 9’5.5”
 🏃 Significant improvements in both acceleration and max-velocity mechanics
 ↔️ Noticeable improvements in change-of-direction ability

But the reason Jacob earned this award goes beyond the numbers.

He was committed to the process. Despite a long drive from Toronto, he often showed up early. He was engaged in the process, regularly watching film, asking questions and actively trying to understand how he could get better.

By the end of the summer, he wasn’t just faster or more explosive. He moved like a different athlete.

That’s what the Breakthrough Award is about.

Chris will now travel to the 2026 Olympics in Milano Cortina as an alternate push athlete for our two 4 man sleds at the Games. 🛷⠀
