We are still buzzing from an incredible afternoon at CourtX for our D***s & Drinks event!

From high-stakes pickleball matches and competitive connect4, to card games and friendly co****le showdowns, our OPA members brought their A-game—and plenty of laughs! It was the ultimate mix of friendly competition and making fantastic new connections.

Of course, the fun didn’t stop on the courts! We headed over to the CourtX Social restaurant area at 4:00 PM to unwind, grab some great food and drinks, and keep the good times rolling into the evening.

A massive thank you to everyone who came out and made this day so special. Check out some pictures of the event.

ATTENTION: OPA D***S & DRINKS
Change of Venue!

See you all today, Sunday, August 23 as we take D***s & Drinks to CourtX (226 Wyecroft Rd, Oakville) for an action-packed afternoon of pickleball, card games, and co****le.

Whether you're playing to win or simply looking to enjoy a great day with fellow OPA members, there will be plenty of opportunities for friendly competition, laughter, and making new connections.

After the games, we'll keep the fun going at the CourtX Social Restaurant area.

The Social event “Drinks” will start at 4 PM, so stick around for a drink, a bite to eat, and great conversation with fellow members.

Get ready to hit the courts! The Oakville Pickleball Association (OPA) is gearing up for another fantastic season of recreational pickleball this fall at local school gyms.

Season Overview
* Start Date: September 23rd, 2026
* End Date: Mid-December
* Location: Local school gyms

Play Schedule & Formats:

Weekday Evening Play
* Days: Monday through Friday
* Time: 6:30 PM or 7:00 PM starts (2-hour sessions)
* Format: Standard recreational play (likely similar levels and days to last year)

Saturday Morning Play
* Time Slots: 2 sessions available (9:00 AM and 11:00 AM)
* Capacity: 2 skill levels available per session, with 6 courts dedicated to each level

What's Next?
We are currently finalizing details as we await final scheduling input from the school board.

* Stay Tuned: Full registration details, exact schedules, and level breakdowns will be announced in early September.

To celebrate National Pickleball Day, PicklePlex, Burloak location is offering a FREE pickleball session on Saturday, August 8th, from 2 pm to 4 pm.

This is a great opportunity for anyone new to the sport to give it a try.

10 new outdoor courts at 16 Mile Creek Community Centre are officially opened with lights until 10pm. Check it out.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to support our pickleball event. Together, we raised over $1,000 for the Kerr Street Mission and filled a bin to the brim with food donations!

A massive shout-out to our pros for the incredible coaching, my awesome volunteers and to all of you for the amazing energy. Proud to be part of such a generous community. See you back on the courts soon!
