This May we’re hosting a Western Dressage clinic here at Up West Equestrian Center with owner and operator Dawn Helm! Dawn is an Equine Canada certified competition coach specializing in dressage.
Western Dressage is an all level friendly sport. No matter what your riding level is, or what breed horse you have to bring you're welcome! The discipline focuses on the horse, and the partnership between horse and rider.
From the Western Dressage Association website: “From top competition horses to recreational trail horses, training methods which utilize Classical Dressage on western horses improve that horse and not only help the green c**t with a great start but benefit the older horse that has become bored or soured after years of arena work.”
Saturday and Sunday each rider will get one 1.5 hour semi private lesson with Dawn.

If you want to learn more about western dressage, but are not able to bring your horse we will be doing a $25 auditor fee for the whole weekend.
