While the weather wasn't very cooperative, Deep Cove always puts together a very fun event with a compelling social scene.

Our first time taking the boat up to Squamish was this year's SOAR regatta. On Friday we raced up from Porteau Cove to Squamish. Saturday was a long distance race within Howe Sound, and Sunday we raced back out to Porteau Cove.

Huge thanks to SYC for an incredible event, we definitely look forward to returning to the stellar wind, awesome scenery, and fierce hospitality.

While it was pretty calm in the morning, 2016 brought great winds and weather for the 2016 edition of the race Round Salt Spring Island.

We took off from a crowded start line, managed to avoid some tricky holes that lacked wind, beat the tides to the one key part of the island, had no major issues, and were finished before sunset!

All said and done we came in 5th out of a competative division of 17 boats (39th out of 99 overall).

Big ups to our crew for the weekend, Colin, Mark, Carissa, Andy and John. Huge thanks to all the organizers and volunteers from the Salt Spring Island Sailing Club for another awesome event!

Spring cleaning begun!

A great start to the warm-weather season for 2016, with Tiddly Cove's Spring Tune-Up Regatta. We had four awesome races, with some pretty solid results, and should be ready to kick off the year. This weekend is the Royal Van Season Opener, so should provide lots more chances for us to progress.

Awesome fun with our first Polar Bear series. Some good wind throughout both the fall and winter series, and a final result of 4th out of 14 boats! Big thanks to everyone who came out to help get the boat going. Looking forward to all the events we have this summer (and hopefully some warmer weather too).
