Parents have the most important job there is, growing the babies and raising the kids who will grow up to contribute to healthier and happier societies.

Some of the most important lessons that parents can teach their kids are the behaviours that support health and vitality.

To us, fitness isn't just about the adult who walks into the gym hoping to shed a few pounds. It's sharing knowledge and habits that they can pass on to their loved ones, from daily movement practices to prioritizing sleep to picking nutritious foods for great energy.

Don't underestimate the power your daily steps will have on your health. We are made to move and move often.

We are excited to announce the summer edition of our kids "Move Academy" program!

Our focus is to teach your kids strong movement patterns, body control, and muscular control. We will introduce the main movement patterns in a fun and educational environment: squat, lunge, push, pull, and core. Our overall intention as professional fitness coaches is to run a program that will set up a foundation to support their current athletic endeavours, future athletic endeavours, and lifelong use of fitness.

Here are the details:

May 6 - July 29

Saturday
11:30am - 12:15pm 9-12 year olds
12:15pm - 1:15pm 13-17 year olds

**No sessions on: May 20 and July 1

Pricing:
4 session pack: $140
8 session pack: $240
12 session pack: $340

Participants can sign-up to any of the above times up to 24 hours prior to the start of the session offering families flexibility. Or, commit to one or more sessions in advance to set a convenient schedule.

Connect with your habits!

You can break down any goal into the habits and behaviours that will help you reach it.⁠

For example, take the goal of losing 5% of body fat.⁠

The habits that will support this:⁠
✅Move every day⁠
✅Eat quality foods⁠
✅Eat appropriate quantities of food⁠
✅Prioritize rest and manage stress⁠

Next, we need to define the behaviours that will create these habits. Because good habits come from consistent behaviors.⁠

For example, if the habit is to move every day, the behaviours to implement are:⁠
🚶‍♂️Walk 15 minutes after lunch⁠
🏋️‍♀️Lift weights 3x per week ⁠
