Trying to hold the ski poles out In front of the skis tips to encourage students to lean forwards and keep pressure on the front of their boots. Pic 1 students best positioning all week. Pic 2 students arms dropped and their centre of gravity shifts backwards. The hardest part is trying to convince the students the importance of a forward ski position, they simply don't care sometimes and just want to let loose. A fine balance.

Exploring the trees and having mini adventures with the kids. I let them choose there paths and we talk about confidence, possible hazards, technique in different terrain , line choice and how to have as much fun as possible without getting injured. I also snook in a geography lesson while skiing the frozen river beds. Amazing day on the mountain

Amazing progress from this young athlete. She loves to ski and it was very pleasing to see how she has improved so much this season

An Amazing 2 hour lesson. My student wanted me to help build her confidence and guide her around the mountain to learn where she can ski on her own. I pushed her a little and gave her space to challenge herself . She left very happy and we hope to work together again in the future.
