Sidney North Saanich Yacht Club SNSYC is an affordable and accessible yacht club, serving both power and sail communities.

SNSYC was founded in 1981 by a group of individuals interested in boating. From the outset, if was designed to be an affordable and accessible club serving both the powerboat and sail boat communities. Nowadays, the club has about 800 members, and a very active and evolving Junior Program. The distinctive and well-appointed clubhouse, converted from an old family home, is located on the west shore of Tsehum Harbour in a park-like setting of lawns, gardens, and trees.

Our fall season Able Sailing sessions are officially open for registration!
Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills, enjoy the crisp autumn air, or simply spend some time out on the water, we have a session for you! With flexible options running daily throughout the week, it’s easy to find a time that fits within your schedule.
* When: Sessions run weekly all through the fall season, wrapping up on November 1st.
* Season: Last session of the year is on November 1st

Summertime; join our Sidney North Saanich Yacht Club. Scan the bar code in this post for more info. It’ll be your best summer! Meet other boaters, attend social events, upgrade your sailing and cruising skills, enjoy regattas, racing, and we have lots of lessons in our junior sailing program. What an incredible weekend on the water for the 43rd annual Patos Island Race, March 21 & 22, 2026, hosted by the Sidney North Saanich Yacht Club and proudly supported by title sponsor Blackline Marine.

Thank you to everyone who came out, skippers, crews, volunteers, and supporters. Events like this remind us why the SNSYC community is so special.
