North Saanich Freeride Park North Saanich Freeride Park is a little piece of heaven for every rider from beginner to expert. Come ride the jumps and race the pump track.

Community Park Designed by experts used by everyone! The park is open to the public from dawn till dusk and is subject to closures when heavy equipment is in the park or severe/wet weather conditions have made the jumps unsafe for public use. Located in North Saanich, near Victoria Airport, just outside of Sidney BC.

Support your local bike park! We’re selling our new North Saanich Freeride Park jerseys for $60 — every dollar goes straight to trail building and park maintenance. Keep the dirt flowing and the features sessioned. The jerseys are made from light-weight breathable materials made by .apparel. Thank you to everyone that attended our Annual General Meeting yesterday. We have an amazing community of riders who are committed to the park, but we remain without a replacement to our previous leadership. We are looking for a replacement to run the Not-for-profit society that maintains the park. We have an abundance of experienced riders and builders, but require a leader capable of managing funding, communications, stakeholder relations and fulfilling societal requirements. Without this position filled, we are no longer going to be able to manage the park, whose future would be unclear. If you care about the North Saanich Free Ride Park we need you now! There are multiple openings on our not-for-profit society board that we need to fill to keep the park running and improving every year.

When they say "It takes a village" they're not joking, without the work of our dedicated board members the gates to the park would not open every year.

So please if you love this park as much as we do, join us WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 10, AT 6PM for our Annual General Meeting and find out what you can do to keep the stoke alive.

After 5 years of good times, it is time for me to step away from running the park. I am very grateful and humbled that the community put their trust in my vision for the park. From installing wood ramps, building new lines, finishing the viewing deck, and building the trick zone I am so proud of what we as a community has accomplished. I am so grateful for our amazing sponsors who helped uplift our community and help make my crazy ideas for the park become a reality. Life is taking me in another direction so I will be stepping down from my leadership position with Friends of the North Saanich Freeride Park Community for 2026.
The park is in a very strong position for success, but now more than ever, we NEED new members of the community to step up and join the not for profit society which keeps this park the gem it is. Without volunteers working behind the scenes, the gates to the park do not open in the spring. If you love the park as much as I do, please come out to our ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 10th at 6pm at the Greenglade community centre. We are looking to fill multiple positions within the organization that without brave volunteers will leave the future of the community and park uncertain. It is time to come together and keep the good times going for everyone who enjoys our slice of mountain bike heaven. Lets keep the brakes wide open, and tires rollin’.
