A division manager assists team managers within the division and is liaison between the board as well as VIAHA. The bulk of their time is preseason as the players are getting back onto the ice, but before teams are formed and everything needs to be coordinated. We were contacted by Jeff Gordon, the son of past president and former hockey coach Bob Gordon who has deep roots with Peninsula Minor Hockey and spent many years at the rink. Beyond supporting PMHA he also fiercely advocated for women’s and female hockey on the island with his work as VIAHA district coaching coordinator. Bob is currently navigating a difficult journey with dementia and his family is doing their best to support him. They have set up a GoFundMe campaign to help with his care. After 18 years of coaching Dale Hauser has coached his last PMHA game as a parent. In the photos coaching U21C1 of his son Colton, with his son Nathan on the bench who was assistant coach of U21C1 as well as U18A this season.
