Rideau Osgoode Martial Arts Welcome to Rideau Osgoode Martial Arts. We teach traditional martial arts to all ages from child to adult. New members are always welcome.

It is the mission of the Rideau Osgoode Martial Arts Club to provide a positive, family-oriented environment for the study of traditional martial arts. Our martial arts focus is one of practical self-defense, not sport. All members are treated with respect; our instructors and students are considered equals.

The DNBK Summer Training Festival occurred this June 12th-14th in Kingston and a few senior belts from Rideau Osgoode Martial Arts were there.

Karate Black Belts:

We will continue having our Wednesday night training at Senseï Wayne’s. If you cannot join in person, we open a Zoom room at 8:00pm. Ask a sensei for details!
NEW: We will continue our Karate Black Belt sessions monthly at the Kars Center. July 24th will be our next Friday night meetup.

We are so proud to announce that Jake was promoted to Shodan (first degree black belt) and Nathan to brown belt in Kobudo this past Sunday. Sensei Mike and several other esteemed OKDR Kobudo black belts observed them for over two hours of class and demonstrations. Congratulations to both of them, and welcome to our newest instructor - Sensei Jake!

The spring EMAC Gasshuku event was held in Napanee May 1st to 3rd. Sensei(s) Katie,Trevor, Dan, Wayne and Christine attended and had a great time. Consider attending a future event to meet folks, attend seminars, learn new techniques, and so much more.
