Curious about ringette? Here’s your chance to get on the ice and experience this exciting sport at no cost!

Come Try Ringette is open to all youth ages 4–18.

Stick around after the session to watch the Nipissing Lakers face Sudbury U19A in an exhibition game beginning at 5:00 p.m. It’s a great opportunity to see the speed and excitement of ringette at a high level!

We’ll have sticks available for everyone to use. Please arrive 20–30 minutes early for check-in and skate tying. We’ll also be happy to help with skates if needed!

Fall sort-outs for the 2026-2027 Rep teams are just around the corner. The fall sort-outs will be held for the FUN 3 (U10), U12B, U14B, U19B, and 18+B divisions.

Ready to build your skills and play better?

The North Bay Skating Club’s Power Skating Skills program is an action-packed, high-energy power skating program designed for hockey and ringette players ages 7 and up!

Skaters will work on:

🔹 Balance
🔹 Power
🔹 Agility
🔹 Speed
🔹 Endurance

Skills, techniques and conditioning drills will be taught progressively, with a focus on proper mechanics and applying those skills in game situations.

Participants should have basic skating ability and be able to:

✅ Get up on their own
✅ Skate forward the length of the ice using alternate strides
✅ Skate backward the width of the ice using alternate strides
✅ Stop without hitting the boards

Ready to skate. Ready to play.
