Every topic from outside the legs, through the legs, and pressure passing guard retention.. to how to use layers of your guard from long to short range, as well as how to counter Front headlock and Leg locks while retaining your guard and more! Attention Members!! As many of you know, tomorrow Justin will be away to Quebec on a family trip. He will not be back to Nova Scotia until Feb 22nd. Please see the following class changes during Feb 13-22 at both TLA Locations:

Feb 13:
- No classes at North Alton TLA

Feb 17:
- At this time Adults BJJ class will be an open mat

Feb 18:
- No classes at North Alton TLA

Feb 20:
- No classes at North Alton TLA

All other classes/Open mat will be on like normal unless changes are posted otherwise! Kids and Juniors classes will be ran by Michael Cerminara. North Alton TLA members are welcome to come train in Melvern Square while Justin is gone!

Yesterday TLA instructor Justin Beattie and student Michael Cerminara traveled to New Brunswick to compete carry out banner. Both of them competed very well in touch brackets! Justin Beattie made it to the Bronze medal match and lost in the Advanced No-Gi 180lb division, Mike fought four rough matches winning 2 of them getting 7th out of 14 competitor in his bracket with only 11 months training in the 2 years and under bracket. Well done! Their matches are all public on our YouTube channel.
