After a week of rainy weather, Mother Nature cooperated today for the 2nd Annual Head Lake Golf Tournament, here at Monck’s Landing. All of the participants seemed to enjoy the round of golf and especially enjoyed the catered lunch upstairs in our barn afterwards. Despite a couple of quick downpours and some very wet scorecards at the end of the night, it was another great Men’s Night here at Monck’s Landing. We missed some of our regulars tonight but were happy to welcome some new golfers to men’s night this week. Thanks to everyone for coming out and we hope to see you all again next week. And thanks always to Boshkung Brewing Co for their ongoing support and sponsorship of our men’s league and our new women’s league on Wednesday mornings.

Tomorrow is Wednesday, and you now what that means, or what it is supposed to mean haha. That darn weather forecast isn’t looking great for our women’s league again tomorrow morning but this week, we aren’t going to cancel ahead of time because Mother Nature and the weathermen can never make up their minds. So we will wait until morning to see what the weather actually turns out like. Shotgun start is scheduled for 10 am; if it’s raining, we will make a decision in the morning around 8 am about whether we should proceed or cancel. Call the pro shop in the morning (705-454-0591) or check back here for an update if we cancel. Now everyone think positive thoughts that it won’t rain 🤞🏻🤞🏻
