Tisdale gets the better of us in extra innings. Hats off to the Rangers for a great back and forth game of ball.

On the mound we seen Carter Pierlot and Austin Slobodian pitch a stellar game together. Our bats stayed fairly hot with our defense showing some improvement… but still a little too mildly lukewarm. Nonetheless it was a good effort and we look to reboot.

Next action for the Giants is in Arborfield Monday, June 22 as we take on the Pasquia Angels Senior Baseball Team.

Well, Saturday didn’t go our way on the scoreboard… dropped two games to the Humboldt Senior Dodgers at home putting us at 1-2 on the year.

Keeping our heads held high there were plenty of positives as our bats were going, Colby Rein blasting his first HR (as well as catching 14 straight innings), our pitching staff deepened as we threw 6 different pitchers, and our defence is heading back to the workshop to tidy up so we can help those arms out!

Another touch point on positives from Saturday we are excited to share an amazing couple games played by our AP’s we brought out by the names of Hunter Rann and Syd Wilkie. These boys pitched an amazing couple innings for us, and proved they can also smack the ball around at the plate.

Thank you to the Nipawin Kinsmen for your help in the kitchen/beer gardens, truly appreciated!!

Our next action goes this Thursday as we take on the Rangers.

A battle back victory!! Showing some resilience and overcoming a 6 run deficit in the bottom of the 6th inning the boys dug deep and found a way.

Carter Pierlot got the nod, Nick Silcox took it from there, and closing was Mark Pierlot. Hits were found up and down the lineup and just like that the season is underway.

🟠 ⚪️ 🟠 PLAYOFF GAMEDAY 🟠 ⚪️ 🟠

The Giants are heading into Arborfield tonight for a do or die clash against Pasquia Angels Senior Baseball Team. Round 1 is a single game to decide the fate of the two teams. Come on out and cheer us on in the biggest game of the year yet. Game is 6:30 start. GO GIANTS GO!!

You didn’t miss it did you?! Giants take the victory infront of an amazing hometown crowd! Nick Peterson and Nick Silcox lock down the mound for the game, with Colby Rein behind the dish. A recipe for success on a beautiful Friday evening. Leading the offense… Calder Smith, Mark Seabrook, and Carter Pierlot combine for 12 hits and 10 RBI amongst the three of them. Yes I said 10, bats were 🔥. The Giants end their regular season at 4-4 and wait to be seeded. Onto playoffs, we will post more info when we have it.

Last and definitely not least, Happy 100th Nipawin! Always a pleasure to play infront of you, THANK YOU FOR COMING OUT! Go Giants Go!!

Giants fans and Nipawin residents!!! We are honoured to be a part of the festivities going on this weekend for our amazing community’s 100th anniversary! We will be playing the Porcupine Plain Pirates Sr. Baseball Team here at home at 6:30 PM this Friday! We hope to see everyone out as it’s our last regular season game and we could sure use the support as we have some tough competition rolling into town. Go giants go!!
