Gale Centre We're a 4 pad arena with NHL size ice surfaces. Located in the north end of Niagara Falls, minutes from the tourist district and QEW. Free indoor walking track.

Barrier-free and fully accessible. Pro Shop offers skate sharpening (no rentals). This is the newest arena in the City of Niagara Falls and offers 4 ice surfaces, board rooms, community rooms and a snack bar. The Niagara Falls Canucks also play out of this arena.

πŸ† The Sports Wall of Fame Committee is looking for athletes, teams and builders who have brought recognition to the City of Niagara Falls through great achievements and contributions to their sport. We also accept nominations for sponsors whose enduring support has boosted any of our many athletics communities.

Nominations for the 2021 Sports Wall of Fame are due Friday, May 7th. Learn more and apply online at niagarafalls.ca/swof.

Although we usually host our annual induction ceremony at the end of January, this year we are looking forward to seeing everyone when we can get together again.

Are you ready to come back in? Reserve your spot at the Gale Centre indoor walking track! Re-opening Monday, Oct 19 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. (weekdays only, by reservation only).

Masks are now required at all times, including during your walk. And in keeping with capacity limits and gathering restrictions the track will be reserved for up to 15 walkers at a time and reservations will be limited to 30 minutes (max. 2 reservations per day).

The track will be cleaned/disinfected once a day.

There are just a few NEW RULES in place to help us keep our numbers under control, and keep everyone safe. Please be aware of these changes before you arrive:

◼️ Reservations are required for all users
◼️ WALKING ONLY, no running allowed
◼️ Keep 6 feet (2m) apart from others at all times
◼️ Check in at the front desk before using the track at each visit

Starting today, Gale Centre ice rinks are available only for pre-arranged bookings. No games or scrimmages are allowed as per provincial restrictions, and the arena will not be open to spectators. Public skating and drop in programs will not be available at this time.

The City of Niagara Falls is doing everything we can to make sure all arena users and City staff can stay safe and healthy as we reopen the Gale Centre. That means taking extra precautions and reopening in phases to make sure we limit the spread of COVID-19.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, City facilities are currently closed. This includes the Gale Centre Arena, the MacBain Community Centre and City Hall.
The City of Niagara Falls website is the best place to stay informed on City service and facility updates as the days progress. We hope everyone stays safe and healthy and we look forward to the day when this is behind us.
