A moment I’ll never forget.

As a kid, I had the incredible opportunity to spend time with Wayne Gretzky—an experience that stayed with me far beyond the rink. His presence, humility, and respect for the game left a lasting impression on how I view hockey, teamwork, and the importance of building strong relationships.

Years later, those values remain at the heart of everything we do: helping young athletes grow with confidence, character, respect, and a real love for the game.

Grateful for the memories, and even more grateful to pass those lessons on to the next generation. 🏒

We were truly honored to welcome Elías , a high-level rep roller hockey player from Mexico, to our summer hockey camp. Elías came to learn the game of ice hockey, challenge himself, and experience something new and it was incredible to watch his passion, dedication, and growth throughout the camp. 🏒

What made the experience even more special was receiving this heartfelt message from his parents:

“Hi, I just wanted to say a big thank you for everything you did for Elías during the summer hockey camp. It really meant a lot to us to see how you welcomed him, looked out for him, and made him feel so comfortable and part of the group.

Thank you also for taking him out to dinner, and especially for the thoughtful letter and all the sweet messages you gave him at the end of camp. Those little details meant so much to him and to us as parents. ❤️

We truly appreciate not only everything you taught him on the ice, but also the kindness and support you showed him off the ice. He had such a great experience and will definitely remember this camp with a big smile.

Rick famously starred for the “Heavy Metal” team on ESPN2, where he earned Goalie of the Year honors in 1998 and 1999.
