We have of course been having a lot of people asking when we will open. I’m hoping to open next Tuesday, May 5th. With the rain forecast for this weekend it just didn’t seem feasible to open this weekend. That said Rick and I have been working to get the course ready. I do however still need someone else to work mowing, raking, whipper snipping. This would be a good job for a university/college student looking to make money over the summer.
The fairways from 3-7 wintered well but 1,2,8 and 9 do show the stress of last summers drought. We have over seeded those this week and will be actually happy to see the rain over the next few days.

What a turn out! 43 people showed up to play in our Tin Cup yesterday afternoon. That’s a record for sure.

Congratulations Chris White, who gets his name on the cup again shooting a 42.

TIN CUP!!!

Since next Sunday will be our last day of the season and the clocks going back at 2am, Tin Cup will start at 2pm on Nov 2nd. Be here by 1:45.

What’s Tin Cup you ask?

It’s our end of season 7 iron challenge. It’s a $5 entry fee and you play 9 holes with just your 7 iron. No other club! Not your 7 hybrid!! Winner takes all!!

If you want in on the action be at the clubhouse ready to go by 1:45.

We will be closing next Sunday, November 2nd for the season. It’s been a long season. Thanks everyone for your support. I know the end of the season conditions were not great but with a limited water supply we did the best we could do at the time.
I’d like to thank all our members, as always you are our foundation.
Hope you have a nice break over the winter and we’ll see you in the spring.

There are two girls from Avon View, one from North East Kings Education Center and one from Central Kings High School on this team. Help them and their teammates get to BC to represent Nova Scotia at Nationals!

Come support your Provincial Champs as they head to Kamloops, BC for Nationals. They’re hosting a BBQ and Bake Sale at Aunt Lisa's Ice Cream Parlour in Windsor this Saturday, Sept 20 from 11-3. It’s also the Hants County Exhibition weekend!

Great start today to the 2025 season.
Was quite warm this morning but it did get a bit windy this afternoon.
We won’t have power carts out until next week so if you’re coming bring your pull cart. We only have a limited number and today we ran out. The new ones I have ordered are not here yet.
