MEET OCTOBER'S⭐STUDENT OF THE MONTH⭐ COURTNEY
ofosu is the perfect reminder of why we do what we do. 🥹❤️

Since joining Studio XIV, we’ve had the absolute joy of watching a newfound confidence bloom in her. We don’t think we’ve ever cheered louder than the moment we saw Courtney crack that gorgeous smile on stage — and with every show since, she continues to come out of her shell, own the stage, and show us more and more of what she’s capable of!

What started as a way to reconnect with a childhood passion has turned into something so much bigger, and we couldn’t be happier that Studio XIV gets to be a part of that journey. Watching our dancers grow not just as performers, but as people, is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. 🫶

POV: You’re an adult with a HOBBY and suddenly your calendar has ✨PERSONALITY✨

Something to look forward to after work. New friends who are just as obsessed as you are. Music up, stress down, and absolutely zero thoughts about your to-do list for an hour. 🖤

Being an adult doesn’t mean your life has to be all work, errands, and responsibilities. You’re allowed to have fun, try something new, and do something just because you LOVE it.

So no, I’m not free that night. I have plans. I have a hobby. I have DANCE CLASS. 💃🏼

And honestly? We think that’s kinda chic. 😉

🚨 DANCERS, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU. 🚨

We're welcoming one of our own Studio XIV dancers, Anna .dancingchiro to lead a special *Dancer Injury Prevention & Maintenance Care* workshop! 🖤

📅 Thursday, October 15
⏰ 7:30–9:00 PM

Anna is a chiropractor based in Newmarket with a special interest in dance — and she gets it. Before chiropractic, she taught ballet, performed with Toronto Dance Life, and spent years studying dance and human anatomy.

So this isn't just about understanding anatomy from a textbook. It's about learning practical ways to take care of a body that dances. 👏

During this 90-minute movement-based workshop, you'll learn and follow along with:

✨ Mobility + joint mobilization
✨ Stretching + muscle/nerve flossing
✨ Self-muscle release techniques
✨ Hip, pelvis + spine care
✨ Glute, hamstring + adductor release
✨ Neck, pec + lat mobility
✨ Ankle, calf + foot care
✨ Intrinsic foot exercises
✨ AND MORE

The goal? Leave with techniques you can actually use at home to help manage tension and support your body during those extra-intense periods of dance training.

🧘 Bring a yoga mat + clothes you can move in
⭐ Highly recommended: lotion, lacrosse/massage balls + foam roller

Come learn a little more about your body, release some tension, and give your dancing machine the maintenance it deserves. 😂🖤
