Great turn out for league today! Still lots of time for you to get a round in before we close sometime in November.

Enjoy a round this Thanksgiving weekend at Newcastle Disc Golf! 🦃We've been busy installing tee pads on the NEW Green 🟩 layout! A perfect way to play NDG if you have less time to squeeze a round in on these shorter autumn evenings🍁. It's also a great layout for younger or inexperienced players ~ bring the whole family for a long weekend round! Odds are you'll spot a wild turkey on the course too😁🦃🥏⛓️‍💥

Daniel Christina Prince representing NDG at Provincials👏👏👏

About 41% of PDGA members are 40+ years old, according to their PDGA registrations.

But fun fact: 50% of Ontario Tour players in 2026 were masters players — wow!

We’re long overdue in giving a shout out to Erin Ramsay and his Custom Creations for the sign he donated in honour of our 4th
Annual Canadian Women's Event, the CWE Double Down II. He can create almost anything with wood, a chain saw and a little bit of inspiration!

Tomorrow we'll play a "candy cane" layout; alternating between long and short tees throughout the course. Come join the fun and take your best shot at CTP and the Ace Pot ♠️💸

The course is in excellent shape! 🍁

NDG representing at Ontario Provincials in Kemptville last weekend!

Thanks to ODSA, PDGA Canada and the Kemptville disc golf community for this fantastic tournament.

Shout out to Daniel Prince, Christina Prince, Tanya Ramsay, Christopher Taylor, Brock Tierny and Chris Beatty for testing their game against the best in the province. A big thank you to Angelica Haggert and the whole tournament team for a wonderfully organized competition! Newcastle Disc Golf learned at the players banquet that we will be among the 3 host courses for Provincials 2027! We had a great exemplar to follow this year 😁🥏⛓️‍💥

🎉 THE WHEEL HAS SPOKEN! 🎉

This year’s Newcastle Disc Golf Club provincial qualifier spot is going to a longtime club member who gives so much to our community — “League Master Dan,” aka "Eagle or Ace McDan", "Dan the Man", "Flick-a-do", and "Mr. Prince"! 👑 From running our weekly leagues and supporting every Canadian Women's Event at NDG to chasing that elusive tournament qualification this season. He always brings an unmatched positive attitude to the course. Dan is a truly deserving recipient. We can’t wait for “Adventures by Dan” to regale us with his escapades at the 2026 Provincials! 🥳 Congratulations, Dan, and thank you for everything you do for our club and the sport! ❤️
