We get it, sunmer is short, and play time is so exciting.

If there is an opportunity to enjoy the waterways, please be mindful of non motorized watercraft, swimmers, & in general, cottagers enjoying their time.

Getting too close to docks, private waterfront, and general use water playgrounds can be especially risky for those in the water.

Be mindful that while navigating the rideau canal system, there are well marked bouy systems in place.

This is to ensure you get from "point A to point B" safely.

Understanding waterway rules helps protect & reduces the risk of others who enjoy swimming, canoeing, floating & all summer fun!
