Wondering what to do on what is sure to be a glorious sunny Saturday? Why not COME TO THE BELLIE BOWL?

Brett Mydske from the Sr Bellies and the Vancouver Warriors (and defensive coordinator for the Jr Bellies) and Noah Armitage from the Sr Bellies and San Diego Seals will be signing autographs at Bellie Bowl on Saturday, May 30 from 12-1. Fun fact...BOTH Brett and Noah are former Minor Bellies players (once a BELLIE always a BELLIE), Brett coaches a Minor Bellies team and Noah will be coaching this summer during Field Frenzy. THATS SOME BELLIES DEDICATION AND HISTORY.

So come on over to QPA from 12pm-1pm, meet Brett and Noah, check out the 50/50 and silent auction and watch some fabulous U11 co-ed lacrosse!

We have another Bellie on the road!

Let's hear it for Joseph Rubino who played for Team Italy at the Heritage Cup 2026 this past weekend at Rider University.

Joseph was part of the incredibly strong Italian U19 team and we KNOW he was a force on longpole.

While Joseph may have just finished his time with the Minor Bellies this past field lacrosse season, we still consider him one of ours...and why?

We have a Minor Bellie on the road!

Lets hear it for Jesus Santiago Medina Sanchez who is off to play for Team Mexico's U15 Field Lacrosse team this weekend at the Heritage Cup 2026 (hosted at Rider University in New Jersey).

Jesus and his family moved from Mexico to Canada five years ago and as soon as he got here, he picked up a lacrosse stick and started playing. Jesus plays for our U15 B coed team, and he is honoured to represent New West (we even hear rumours he will be sporting some sweet Bellies swag at formal events)! We're so proud he's part of our Bellies family.

As the get on the floor tonight for their home opener, we thought it would be a good time to share this little reminder of where it all begins.

With the littlest of fish. With the volunteer youth coaches. With the board members and coaches. With the parents signing their kiddos up for their first lacrosse team.

The Doug Hazelwood Memorial Skills Clinic is often the first time our little fish get on the floor with other players. It's a chance for our more experienced minors to pass on their knowledge and give back.

And we LOVE IT!

Thank you so much to our amazing volunteer Laura for putting together this incredible video celebrating these players and coaches! We appreciate you.

So let's cheer loud for ALL the fish hitting the floor this Box Lacrosse season. Little, Middle and Big.

We love it when our teams take the initiative to make their experience better.

If you're out exploring the always AWE INSPIRING Queen's Park Garage Sale this Saturday, May 9th from 9am-2pm, make sure you pop by 506 2nd street.

Our very own U15B Co-ed team will be selling Krispy Kreme donuts, drinks, hot dogs, freezies and a variety of candy treats to make sure your Garage Sale experience is hydrated, fed and just a little bit fun. Come out and support the team as they raise funds for upcoming tournaments and their run to compete at Provincials in Prince George.

We love to see our Bellies out in the community, growing the game we love and working hard to make their season GREAT!

What a tournament weekend for our Minor Bellies! Our U15B girls team won the Bronze Medal in overtime at the Richmond Rumble on the River and our U15A2 coed team went undefeated at the Kamloops Rattle Battle. Let's GO BELLIES!
