New Liskeard Cubs U18 Hockey Club

The New Liskeard Cubs welcomed Officer Thibault from the Temiskaming Detachment for a presentation prior to practice last night.

It was a great opportunity for our players to discuss a number of topics that young people face in their everyday lives, including social media, responsible decision-making, consent, and zero tolerance for impaired driving.

Being a member of the New Liskeard Cubs is about more than what happens on the ice. Opportunities like this help reinforce the importance of making good decisions, looking out for one another, and representing our team and community with pride.

Thank you to Officer Thibault and the Temiskaming Detachment for taking the time to speak with our players and for supporting the young people in our community.

The New Liskeard Cubs are proud to welcome Ryan Larocque for the 2026-27 Season! Ryan joins the team after spending last two seasons with New Liskeard Lions U18 Hockey! Ryan brings a strong 2 way game and leadership on and off the ice! Ryan is excited to get started with the Cubs and eager play at the Shep in front of the fans!

We look forward to watching Ryan in the Black and Gold this season!

Shoutout to Alumni Logan Rivard on joining the Newmarket Hurricanes for the upcoming season! Logan played 2 seasons with the Cubs! Best of luck in Newmarket!

We have signed ‘08 F Logan Rivard, Logan comes from the Ayr Centennials of the GOHL.

Logan has a NCAA Division 1 Commitment to Lake Superior State University.

We would like to welcome Logan to the Canes!
