Matt MacGrath was one of the strongest and kindest people I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. He showed up for others without hesitation, never needing to be asked and never expecting anything in return. Hearing him talk about his family and friends told you everything about the kind of man he was, loyal, proud, and full of love. The grappling community has lost someone truly special. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I’m grateful for the time I had with him and honored to call him my friend.
