Coming in at 15,000 sqft, the Nelson Skatepark is just what the town needs. The Kootenay Lake Outdoor Skatepark Society worked diligently with town representatives for a number of years to see this project through and we're proud to have helped make it a reality. The bowl is a key feature-- depths are 4'6 and 7'6 so it's a quick one. The transition elements continue with a snake run, which makes t

his park flow nicely. The street area is stacked with features: Pier 7 manny/ledge, numerous hubba ledges, several rails, flat bar, and more. The Nelson Skatepark is located in Art Gibbon Park, 505 West Beasley Street in the Rosemont area.

Hi Friends - IMPORTANT INFO ON SPRING CLEANING ▪️ we need to be very very careful this time of year with the tools we choose to get the park clean - Someone has used a hammer on the bottom of the bowl and caused serious damage ! Please Please Please ... plastic shovels ONLY and never chip at ice or snow on any of this concrete - Until we can get this patched we suggest you avoid using the bowl - This is a costly repair and will take some time to get sorted - Keep an eye on how folks are clearing snow and do your part to help keep the Park in top Shape !! PLEASE SHARE !
