FORGE FC DEFEATS YORK UNITED 3-0 TO WIN 2025 CPL SHIELD
Forge FC secured a 3-0 victory over York United at Hamilton Stadium. Goals were scored by Alessandro Hojabrpour in the 11th minute, Brian Wright in the 45+2nd and 54th minutes. This win earned Forge FC the 2025 CPL Shield as regular season champions, marking their second consecutive Shield and seventh trophy. The team led the league in U-21 minutes and will have home-field advantage in the playoffs.
