Nei Gong is a traditional practice encompassing self awareness, movement, health and meditation.
It is the tradition from which Tai Chi and Qi Gong were developed.

Happy Spring everyone!

There will be continuing series of Online Qi Gong classes hosted by Selkirk College for the upcoming month.
-Just as before, classes will be hosted once per week, with hour long classes. The classes will be held on Saturday afternoons, happening at 3pm to 4pm PDT, also beginning at 3pm PDT on Saturday April 29th, ending on Saturday, June 3rd, no class on May 20th.

These classes will be a great way to get acquainted with the practices of Qi Gong and Tai Chi, and get fit, active and energized for the bright days of summer ahead!
-As always, these classes will be a series with exercises which focus on introducing the core fundamental movements of the Tai Chi forms. With drills focusing on a slightly larger frame of movement, emphasizing balance and spatial awareness, as well as the promotion of core integration (flexibility/stability), spinal health, cardiovascular function and mental relaxation.
-As always, no prior experience necessary. So if you are interested in trying out Qi Gong for the first time and/or curious about getting to know what Tai Chi might be all about, this is your chance!

-The cost for the classes is $62 for 5 sessions

Happy Autumn everyone!
Just an update of the 36th Chamber's In-Person Tai Chi and Qi Gong Class Schedule-
-The classes will continue be being held twice per week, Tuesdays at 5pm and Saturdays at 5pm.
-As always, classes will be:
-An hour and a half in length
- Held at North Kootenay Martial Arts Studio, 646 Baker St, Nelson, BC,
-Are still a great way to get acquainted with the practices of Tai Chi, Chi Gung (Qi Gong) and stay fit, flexible and energized!
-Classes focus on exercises which introduce core fundamental movements of the Tai Chi forms, with drills emphasizing balance and spatial awareness, as well as the promotion of core integration (flexibility/stability), spinal health, cardiovascular function, and mental relaxation.
-As always, no prior experience necessary. So, if you are interested in trying out Tai Chi/Chi Gung for the first time and curious about getting to know what Tai Chi might be all about, this is your chance!
-Cost is sliding scale, from $20 to $50 per class, pay what you'd like in that range.

Online Qi Gong classes with Selkirk College will be available starting this weekend!
Discover a tried and true method of stress management, relaxation, rehabilitation and self-renewal. If you have ever considered giving Qi Gong a try, this is the time! Dive into the function, principles, techniques and methods of a well-rounded Qi Gong. Join some fun and relaxing guided Qi Gong classes, aimed to acquaint you with the twin practices of Qi Gong and Tai Chi, in the privacy of your own home, and leave the sessions feeling the weight lifted.
Classes will run from Saturday September 17th to Saturday October 22nd (no class on October 8th)
Cost is $62

The Selkirk College Seminar will be happening at 2-3pm PDT, and the College of the Rockies Seminar will be held from 3pm to 4 pm PDT.

Happy Summer everyone!
This is a post just to let you know there will be continuing series of Online Qi Gong classes hosted by both the College of the Rockies and Selkirk College for the upcoming month.
-Just as before, both classes will be hosted once per week, both with hour long classes. Both the College of the Rockies classes and the Selkirk College classes will be held on Saturday afternoons, with the College of the Rockies classes happening at 2pm PDT, beginning at 2pm PDT, Saturday, July 9th, and the Selkirk College class with be happening at 3pm to 4pm PDT, also beginning at 3pm PDT on Saturday July 9th, with College of the Rockies classes ending on Saturday, August 6th and Selkirk College classes ending on August 13th
These classes will be a great way to get acquainted with the practices of Qi Gong and Tai Chi, and get fit, active and energized for more of the bright days of summer ahead!
