Saying a Mantra every morning in the mirror can really help shape your day. However if you forget or your mornings are too hectic, even finding time through out the day to just take a deep breath and say a mantra can really help with your mental well being.

Knowing how food is grown and where it comes from is truly important but the other factor of food that I believe is just as important if not more is knowing how the food can help your body with nutrition and which ones help with which chakra.
Foods for balancing the Heart Chakra:
—- Artichoke, Arugula Kefir, Asparagus, Bitter Melon, Bok Choy, Broccoli, Cabbage, Celery, Chard (savoy) Chard (Red), Cucumber, Dandelion, Green Onions, Green Peas, Green Pepper, Kale, Leafy Greens, Leak, Mixed Greens, Mustard Greens, Olives (Green), Romaine, Snap Peas, Spinach, Spring Greens, Sprouts, Watercress, Zucchini
—- Avocado, Grapes (Green), Honeydew Melon, Kiwi, Pear
—- Green Beans, Green Split Peas, Soybean (Edamame)

Why does the Heart Chakra get blocked...
** The green chakra can become blocked due to past trauma or holding onto emotions from the past. Blocking the energy in the heart chakra is something we subconsciously do to protect ourselves from getting hurt, especially if we’ve been hurt before.
💚💚 This chakra will also become unbalanced anytime you feel a lack of love in your life.💚💚. Blockages occur when you suppress your emotions for any reason. If you feel you cannot freely express your emotions, then you are blocking the flow of energy through your heart chakra and it becomes unbalanced.

Yesterday I posted about the Heart chakra to try and bring light on a topic I find to be very important. Understanding how your chakras work can help bring stability and eliminate unwanted stress.
For the month of February I’m to stay focused on the Heart Chakra.

Location: The Heart Chakra is located in the cardiac plexus, ruling over the heart and lungs. It is associated with the thymus gland.

Air Element: The element associated with the heart chakra is air. Air represents freedom, openness, freshness, lightness, simplicity and overall all things that are expansive and spirited. The same way that air fills the space it occupies evenly and with a sense of equilibrium, evenness and calm, the heart chakra mirrors a sense of loving equanimity.

Colour Green: The Heart Chakra is represented by the colour green. It is the colour of balance, tranquility and calm. Being the colour we mostly find in nature, green has a soothing power over us.

Consciousness: The Heart Chakra’s consciousness is without a doubt love, which is experienced as a state of wholeness and unity. At this level, love is not dependent on outside events but rather comes from within and radiates outwards. Through this chakra, we break the illusion of separation and learn to see the world through unity.

Heart chakra is the 4th chakra in your body located in the chest area and it represents love, acceptance and compassion. Heart chakra act as a bridge between the body and the mind. It’s incredibly hard to take any moment for yourself, especially if you have a little one(S) counting on you, however it’s extremely important for not only yourself but everyone that looks at you for support to make sure that you take care of yourself. Practicing self-care is the first step to making sure everyone you love, including yourself, has a happy life.

Well my last post said I’m coming back to the media world 😂 which was in JANUARY!!! What a weird, crazy year this has turned out to be. However it has provided many opportunities to sit back and reflect on what is most important, for that i am truly thankful for this year. Many home renovations, 6 kids full time, taught 5 different grades, started a new business and because obviously life is not busy enough we added to our family of 8 and one old dog by getting a puppy!!! 2020 you brought many unpredictable moments but you have shown us all how strong we really are! I’ve felt guilty for not posting more on here and helping others but sometimes we must do what is best for us in the moment and we should never feel guilty for that!! I’ve enjoyed and cherished the focus I’ve put into my family 🤗🤗 WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR YOURSELF?? Comment below.... #2020

GOOD MORNING BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!
I want to thank every single person who has supported me through this chapter. However it is time for me to close this part and look forward to my next adventure.
This Sunday, July 28,2019 will be my last day teaching at Crossfit Ladysmith.
Please remember to still reserve for the final class!
