Welcome to the Nanaimo Yacht Club

An historic maritime city located in central Vancouver Island, Nanaimo is closely associated with the sea. The Nanaimo Yacht Club has been an integral part of this community since 1931 with approximately 650 members who enjoy benefits such as a modern clubhouse and first rate moorage. The Nanaimo Yacht Club is clearly indicated on the Nanaimo Harbour chart at the

south end of Newcastle Channel and just north west of the main anchorage. If you live in the Nanaimo area within 10 nautical miles of the Nanaimo Yacht Club in the area bounded by the waters of Nanoose Harbour, the Strait of Georgia, Northumberland Channel, and would like to become a member please contact us.

We were proud to present $1,440 in donations to Loaves & Fishes Community Food Bank in support of the incredible work they do for our community.

Commodore Len Ferris, joined by his daughter Kyla Danly, Chair of the NYC Craft Fair, had the pleasure of delivering the cheque on behalf of our members and supporters. This contribution reflects the generosity and community spirit that make our club so special.
