Nanaimo Contemporary Ballet

Nanaimo Contemporary Ballet NCB is a youth ballet company that brings together emerging young artists. Nanaimo Contemporary Ballet is thrilled to introduce the 2022/23 season.

With guest choreography by Angela Mousseau, Justine Fraser, and Julie England. Be sure to stay connected to the company via Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date with all NCB does in its 7th season. Providing Vancouver Island dancers with workshops, production creation, and guesting opportunities, NCB is more than supplemental training, it's a pathway to the professional stage. With original w

orks that travel abroad, dancers are able to perform in front of live, public audiences along side professional dancers who know the industry first hand.

We were captivated by two breathtaking performances by the on Saturday that sought to express human's relationship with nature. This one, Chantelle Ristine's mesmerizing solo, "The Moth," was performed by Naiah Kulla, and left us all spellbound.
