I would dread the end of the workday because I knew after sitting at my desk all day I had to go to the gym or do something active to feel productive.

Do you want to know why I felt like this? Because my body wasn’t being properly nourished from morning until dinner time.

I would eat breakfast and then snack throughout the day on healthy things (ie hummus + crackers, veggies or whatever else I had).

I became a nutrition coach to learn how to better fuel my body and kick the early evening lethargy I was feeling every day. Going to the gym consistently made me realize I needed to learn more about nutrition in order to see results and I needed to better my eating habits in order to live a healthier life.

I am here to motivate other women who are facing similar struggles as me to live their healthiest lives!

Story time! My fitness journey.

Growing up, I was never a “big” guy. In fact, I was quite small and skinny. I was always self conscious about my size, and my confidence suffered. My friends parents would often offer me food because I was “too skinny”.

I remember asking someone out on a date, and being shut down. I overheard a conversation she was having with a friend, saying I was too skinny and it wasn’t attractive.

From that moment on, I was determined to build muscle and get bigger.

I began doing home workouts with a single dumbbell and a push up machine… terrified to go to the gym. I vividly remember standing in front of the mirror with my singe dumbbell and saying “f**k this”. I threw the dumbbell on the ground, got a burst of courage and drove my unconfident ass to the gym.

I fell in love. I never looked back.

I’ve been training for the past 10 years, and gained 60lbs of muscle over that time. Fitness became my passion, my true love, and my safe zone. I am confident and maybe even a little cocky, but I have earned that right. I put in the hard work, invested 10 years in myself, and will continue to invest.

It takes one small step. I did it… and so can you.
