Walk to a Glacier—No Tour Needed! If you're driving the Icefields Parkway, don't miss this quick and stunning walk to the Toe of the Athabasca Glacier. Just 1.5 km round trip — beginner-friendly, no guide required!

This is one of the easiest ways to get up close to a glacier in the Canadian Rockies. Located at the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre, just across the highway. Free parking.
