🌞 The Cool Pool Trial Continues! 💦

We're extending our Cool Pool Trial for one more week! Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to share their feedback. Overall we've heard positive feedback. Based on your responses we're adjusting the timing. The large pool will continue to be cool for the heat of the day but it will now be warm for the first soak of the day.

For the next week, the large pool will gradually drop from 98°F at 10:00 AM to 82°F by midday. After that, we'll gradually increase the temperature, with the pool returning to its normal 98°F by 5:30 PM.

We're continuing this trial to gather even more feedback and improve the guest experience.

If you've had a chance to enjoy the cooler pool - or prefer it at its regular temperature - we'd love to hear from you! Your feedback plays an important role in helping us make future decisions.

Effective at noon (Pacific time) on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, Category 1 campfires will be prohibited within the Nakusp Fire Service Area. Please see the attached map for the Fire Service Area boundaries.

Category 2 and Category 3 open fires are also currently prohibited throughout the province of British Columbia.

🌞 Help Us Test a Cooler Pool! 💦

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, July 15, we'll be trying something a little different in our large pool.

For the next week, the large pool will be cooled to approximately 80°F each day from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Beginning around 2:00 PM, we'll gradually start increasing the temperature, with the pool returning to its normal temperature of 98°F by 5:30 PM.

We're testing this to see how our guests feel about having a cooler pool available during the warmest part of the day.
