I had to make the heartbreaking decision to send my 14 year old rescue dog, Mitzi, to Heaven today.

Through all the tears and agony, I feel overwhelming joy and appreciation for what she brought to my life, and how successful our partnership was.

Riding for miles every day, rain, shine or snow...so many adventures!

Helping her learn how to calm her mind so that she could actually be present in the moment and enjoy it. Sound familiar?

The opportunity to care for someone, each and every day, that really appreciates it, heals from it, grows from it and sends the love back multiplied. We both had that. ❤️
