Your 2026/2027 season is loading!

Our first practices are in the process of being uploaded to Ramp this week but we thought we’d share a sneak peek.

The first practice for each team will include a parents meeting to go over tournament plans, expectations and all the good-to-knows for the season ahead.

It’s coaching announcement season!

Coming in hot for her second year as head coach is Christina Nullmeyer taking on the U16B team. Christina is stoked to be working with this team and is excited to see what these girls will do this year!

Joining her on the bench are assistant coaches Katie MacAskill and Katie East , and rounding out the U16 bench staff is trainer Jac Hanna

COME TRY RINGETTE

We are hosting a Come Try Ringette Night on THURSDAY, AUGUST 27th at 6:00pm in the Gravenhurst Centennial Arena.

Come Try Nights are for kids age 4-17 who are thinking about trying ringette with the Muskoka Royals this season. Whether your kid has never laced up skates before or is flying around the rink, this is a no-pressure, all-fun way to see what ringette is about!

What to expect:
A completely FREE intro to ringette session
On ice helpers for every skill level
Skating and basic ringette skills
A welcoming judgement free space to try something new

Helmet, skates and gloves
We will provide sticks, rings and good vibes!

2026/2027 Royals Registration is open and to celebrate we’re counting off some of our favourite things about the sport of ringette.

The nature of ringette emphasizes passing, skating and teamwork. Players are always being encouraged to grow and develop their skills, no matter how long they’ve been on the ice.

Ringette allows players to learn, grow and challenge themselves at their own pace. New skaters learn fundamentals and build confidence, while more experienced players continue developing all at the same time.

No matter where you start, there is a place for your child on the ice with the Royals.

NEW for 2026/2027, the Muskoka Ringette Association is thrilled to offer an Open (Adult) tournament team to provide a year-round option for ringette players.

Out sport is organized by Ringette Ontario from the very beginning of Learn to Skate right up to adult teams for a seamless experience for your whole life! Adult teams are made up of recent regional players and those who have moved into the community with playing experience.

Get registered today with a $150 deposit so that we know your in - more details will be provided to registered adult athletes.

Regionals teams are the bread and butter of the Muskoka Royals community. Players build on their friendships and practices to compete in 20 home/away games throughout the season, and participate in a few tournaments too!

Last year, our U19 regional team brought home the gold in their division at their year-end championships, and our U12 regional team was the top B team in the entire province! All this success is based on hard work, and a Muskoka work ethic that can’t be beat.

When your player is ready, FUN3 is where they take flight! A transition from the FUNdamentals program into regional play, FUN3 is for players around age 8-10 and introduces full-ice play and 20 home/away games all season longs.

FUN3 players get a feel for full ringette competition and can be supported as they move through the season, sometimes moving to various levels of play based on skill, age and friendship connections. Ringette is a game for lifelong play, and FUN3 is where it really takes off!
