What a fall we had… Again this year we were fortunate enough to be able to practice outside until mid November before moving to indoor practice.

Once the snow was imminent (and boy oh boy has it arrived today!) the boys relocated our equipment to our winter facility, Life Church in Bracebridge.

We are so thankful for the acceptance and generosity of Life Church. Life Church has supported the Outlaws and are an integral part of our growth and development.

At this time last year I was not sure how our relationship would evolve. I can honestly say that Pastor Dan and his members have exemplified patience (specifically when baseball bats go through a wall), tolerance of less than ideal music, and problem solving, while making us all feel welcome.
 
Although we may not all have the same religious beliefs, we have been able to come together thanks to the genuine commitment to the community that Life Church shows. Their care and concern for the boys is heartfelt, and appreciated.

Thank you Life Church, we look forward to our next chapter together.

Coach Amos puts his undefeated Olympics record on the line as he leads a strong and confident team into battle.
The opponents led by Coach Jason already appear nervous and shaken.
Can first overall pick Mic Losier and former champion Archer Westgarth help lead a discouraged coach Jason’s team to an upset win?
Or will past champ Julien Bourgeois show past looser Mark Holm the path to victory with coach Amos?
Who will win the battle between two Fredericton boys in Coach Jason’s Tyler Stewart or Coach Amos’s Aaron Hicks?

As is the nature of the world, supply chain has presented us some issues this year.

We received our turtle yesterday after ordering nearly 12 months ago. Special Thanks to Mark at Centretown Sports for his persistence in helping us get this to Muskoka. What an adventure!

The two guys in this photo spent their day assembling this beast.

Kaden and Kaeden (I still don’t actually know which one spells it which way) hail from Manitoba and throughout the entire year whenever we needed help with something they were the first ones to step up. From helping at the indoor facility, to changing over tires, doing oil and filters, or building a turtle - they have been the ultimate team players. Unfortunately for us, they are both in grade 12 and will be heading home before we know it.

Whoever raised these two guys sure did something right.

Boy, are we ever going to miss them!

As I am sure you have all heard by now, Buck has needed to step away from baseball to battle cancer.

We were very excited to have him join us in Muskoka next month, but there are some things in life a whole lot more important than baseball. We wish Buck all the best, and we can't wait to see and hear him back in the booth!

We will be announcing our pinch hitter for Buck tomorrow night.

The boys pick up a convincing 10-2 win to finish the round robin at 3-2. The Outlaws miss out on the semi finals by one defensive run in the tie breaker. A tough way to finish the tournament but somehow a couple extra days in the Florida sun makes it sting a little less.

A little exit velocity test before we hit the road to Florida. Michael Losier and Kaeden Siwak remain the lone two at 100MPH. But Julien Bourgeois and Ben Soke join the coveted 90+ MPH club. They join Tyler Stewart, Carter Higgins, Kaden Rozdeba who have already hit the number. Hopefully we will have a couple more join the club next month.
