Youth Ballet Collective Fulfil Your Ballet Potential! Students will be grouped by age and level to ensure appropriate pacing and challenge.

The Youth Ballet Collective, is a supplementary ballet program designed to nurture artistry, deepen technique, and inspire the next generation of ballet talent. Introducing the Youth Ballet Collective, a supplementary ballet enrichment program created by Marie Steffen and Martin Vallée, designed to nurture artistry, deepen technique, and inspire the next generation of ballet talent. The weekly two

-hour class begins with a focused technical training session, taught by Martin Vallee, followed by work on classical repertoire, variations, and/or original classical and contemporary choreography. To maintain a high standards and ensure the program is the right fit for each dancer, all interested students will be required to audition.

Congratulations to all of the Youth Ballet Collective dancers on an incredible first season!
This evening marks the end of our inaugural season, and we couldn’t be prouder of the dedication, hard work, and growth each of you has shown throughout the year. Your steady progress, commitment, and love of ballet have made this first season truly special.
It wasn’t just about technique and performances. It was about building friendships, sharing laughs, celebrating achievements, and, of course, bonding over ice cream and Tim Hortons!
Thank you for making this first season such a memorable one. We can’t wait to welcome you all back in September as we continue to grow together, challenge ourselves, and create even more wonderful memories. Marie & Martin.

Well, that’s a wrap on Season 1 of the Youth Ballet Collective, with such a lovely group of young dancers. Are you age 12 - 16 and interested in joining us for Season 2?

Classes take place on Sundays with our Ballet Master, Martin Vallee
Technique & Variations: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM ($20)
Pointe: 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM (+$10)

While we missed some of our company members who are away, the rest of the Youth Ballet Collective dancers enjoyed watching performance in Bowring Park this afternoon. It is so important for the younger generation to watch those who have travelled , and continue to travel , the path of professional dance.

It was a beautiful day to be outside enjoying and supporting the art form we all love.

Keep up your technique this summer with training that is challenging, supportive, and encouraging.

Open to students entering Grades 7+
(Technically strong Grade 6 students , please email us for approval.)

Tuesday and Thursday - July 2 - Aug 6. 6:00 - 7:30 pm

Youth Ballet Collective is excited to offer summer evening classes starting July 7th, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00–7:30 PM. $20/class. Take one class or many.
These classes are designed for dedicated ballet students entering Grade 7 (26/27 school year) and older who are currently training in ballet at least 2 times per week and are looking for a challenging, enriching experience to further develop their technique.
Led by YBC Co-Director Martin Vallée, classes will include:
Focused technical training - Ballet Barre and Variation work and Contemporary ballet choreography
This is an excellent opportunity for serious dancers to stay strong, inspired, and progressing over the summer months.
